Katharina Balazs is the Associate Professor of Strategy and Organisation at the ESCP-EAP Paris campus. She has worked as an organisational consultant in Scandinavia and Central Europe where was specialised on strategic and cross-cultural management issues in companies undergoing international mergers and acquisitions. Katharina Balazs'' current research explores the way in which character traits and behavioural patterns affect the leadership and management style of the world''s most outstanding chiefs.

Katharina has taught at INSEAD, Sciences Po and HEC and is active in Executive Development in a large number of organisations in various countries. She is a member of the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association and the Strategic Management Society.
